The bike computer provided by the app must be used in the same way than an ordinary bike computer. BikePower is thought to limit handling but can not prevent inappropriate uses (like making calls while riding).

GPS accuracy is essential to have reliable results.
Slope and instant power data can be temporarily inaccurate: this does not affect the subsequent ride analysis.
